Terms of Service

We're a small, local New Mexico company, and we keep these terms short and in plain English. They exist so that both you and we know exactly what to expect. By booking a ride with NMShuttle β online, by phone or text, or through a travel agent β you agree to these terms.
1. Our Service
NMShuttle operates scheduled shared shuttles between Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) and Santa Fe, plus private rides across New Mexico. We are federally and state licensed (USDOT #4512913, NMPRC #58860) and carry full commercial insurance.
2. Reservations & Payment
Your reservation is secured when your online payment is approved and you receive a confirmation number by email. All reservations are subject to these terms. No additional payment is due at pickup.
3. Last-Minute Bookings
Bookings made less than 12 hours before pickup are accepted as received, pending confirmation: your payment secures the reservation, and a team member will personally confirm your driver by text. We ask last-minute bookers to text us at 505-545-2964 right after booking. In the rare event we cannot operate a last-minute ride, we will tell you as soon as possible and refund your payment in full β that refund is the full extent of our responsibility for a ride we could not confirm.
4. Pickup Times & Being Ready
Posted departure times are when the shuttle leaves the final stop β La Fonda on the Plaza for Santa Fe departures, and the ABQ Sunport terminal for Albuquerque departures. If your pickup is at another hotel or a home address, your driver will pick you up before the posted departure time and will text you your exact pickup time.
Because this is a shared shuttle and other passengers have flights to catch, drivers can only wait a couple of minutes at each stop. Please be ready at your pickup spot a few minutes early. If you miss your pickup, the reservation is treated as a same-day cancellation (non-refundable) β but contact us right away and we will try to get you on the next available shuttle or preserve your fare as trip credit when we can.
5. Travel Times, Flights & Connections
All travel and arrival times we publish are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Traffic, weather, road construction, and picking up passengers at multiple hotels can add time to any trip.
You are responsible for choosing a departure that leaves enough buffer for your plans. If you are catching a flight, we recommend selecting a shuttle that arrives at the airport at least 2 hours before a domestic departure and at least 3 hours before an international departure.
NMShuttle is not responsible for missed flights, missed connections, missed events, or any resulting costs (such as airline change fees, new tickets, or hotel nights). Our responsibility is limited to the transportation you purchased, as described in Section 7.
6. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
You can reschedule or cancel any time by signing in at nmshuttle.com/account.
- 24+ hours before departure: 90% refund (a 10% service fee covers card processing and rebooking).
- Within 24 hours of departure: non-refundable. If a flight delay or last-minute travel disruption prevents you from riding, contact us right away β we can usually preserve the value as trip credit valid for up to one year, or move you to the next available shuttle when seats are open.
- Round trips: each leg is evaluated against its own departure time.
7. If We Need to Change or Cannot Operate Your Ride
Rarely, weather, road closures, a vehicle problem, or other events beyond our control may prevent us from operating a ride. If that happens, we will notify you as quickly as possible and offer the next available shuttle, trip credit, or a full refund of the unused transportation β your choice.
Occasionally we may also need to adjust a departure time or consolidate a lightly booked run into another scheduled departure. If we ever need to move your reservation to a different time, we will contact you as early as possible. If the new time does not work for you, you can choose a different departure, trip credit, or a full refund β the choice is always yours.
In every case, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the reservation. A full refund of that amount is the exclusive remedy for any ride we are unable to provide.
8. Luggage & Personal Items
Each passenger ticket includes 1 large suitcase and 1 carry-on item. Oversized items (skis, golf clubs, bicycles) need advance approval, as space on shared shuttles is limited. Please double-check the vehicle before leaving β we are not responsible for items left behind, but we will always do our best to reunite you with them.
9. Passenger Conduct
Seat belts are required at all times. Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and illegal substances are not permitted in our vehicles. Children must ride in appropriate car seats per New Mexico law β we can provide car seats on request when arranged at booking. We may refuse or discontinue service, without refund, to anyone whose behavior endangers the driver or other passengers.
10. Changes to Service & These Terms
Schedules, stops, and pricing may change as our service grows; changes never reduce what you already paid for. If a schedule change affects an existing reservation, Section 7 applies. We may update these terms from time to time β the version posted at nmshuttle.com/terms on your booking date applies to your reservation.
